Fated to Destroy

The prophecy calls her the Shivara. Half the world is waiting for her to save them. The other half is convinced she will end them.

They might both be right.

When Jasira discovers she is the prophesied bridge between Earth and the Arashi homeland of Zinaah, she is pulled into a world on the edge of fracture. A radical faction called the Colere wants to use her power to rewrite the cosmic order. The High Council wants to contain her. And the bonds forming around her, ones she never asked for, may be the most dangerous thing of all.

The closest thing she has to an ally is Renoit, a man who has served the Colere for two thousand years and is running out of time to remember who he was before them. The bond between them was never supposed to happen. She is starting to suspect she cannot afford to let it matter.

The Aisa, the sentient force governing fate itself, does not offer solutions. It offers consequences.
